ZAMMLER GROUP participated in the interdepartmental meeting on the establishment of the entry port through the state border at “Bila Tserkva” aerodrome
ZAMMLER GROUP, being interested in implementation of the project on Bila Tserkva freight airport modernization, participated in the meeting on the establishment of a new entry port through the state border at Bila Tserkva aerodrome. The meeting was held in January 16, 2019 and was initiated by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, State Fiscal Service, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Bila Tserkva City and Regional Council were involved in the meeting in order to discuss organizational and technical issues. During the meeting, the Participants acknowledged the fact that the increase in cargo operations currently serves as the key to further investments promotion. Interested parties concluded that there are no technical obstacles for such operations as Bila Tserkva aerodrome runway is fully suitable, while railway station located nearby offers opportunities for multimodal transportation. ZAMMLER company as the logistics operator is ready to provide all customs and brokerage, cargo handling, storage and related services. Bila Tserkva entry port is planned to be opened in May 2019. Today, the project team exerts all efforts for the project implementation and plans the following for the next two weeks: – the project shall be prepared till the February 01, 2019 and submitted to all the meeting participants for review; – after the February 01, the representatives of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, State Fiscal Service, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other interested parties plan to visit Bila Tserkva Cargo Aviation Complex and ZAMMLER terminal in Bila Tserkva. The purpose of the visit is to inspect the territory and facilities, add new items to the list of requirements for the port of entry and find omissions. The next meeting is planned to be held for discussing the outcomes of the visit and inspection.
