Strategic plans on the international transport and logistics hub in Belaya Tserkov creation remain unchanged,” -Viktor Shevchenko, CEO of ZAMMLER GROUP
Currently, the Air complex is working upon approval of the operational documentation related to opening of the international border crossing point at the airfield at the level of the state departments. Herewith, the process of search and engagement of investors for the project implementation is carried out, and the mechanism of attraction of investments into development of Bila Tserkva Airport via the state and private partnership is also considered. The newly-appointed Acting Director of the Air complex Yurii Ahaliiev presented such information in the course of a meeting with the CEO of the ZAMMLER Group of Logistics Companies Viktor Shevchenko being the strategic partner Public Utility Company “BVAK” (Bila Tserkva Cargo Air Complex). “The intentions on establishment of the airport in Bila Tserkva developed by the ex-management of BVAK are still on the agenda. This project is a strategically important and advantageous not only for Bila Tserkva, but for the whole state. Thus, I will provide the widest possible support for the project implementation,” – commented Yurii Ahaliiev. According to Viktor Shevchenko, Zammler-Ukraine LLC will be further the strategic partner of Public Utility Company “BVAK” in establishment of the international transport and logistics hub. “It is important for our international partners to understand that the project is of immediate interest, that it is supported by the Government, including by the Ministry of Infrastructure, as well as that it is implemented in compliance with the arrangements having being made in the course of the previous meetings,” – the CEO of ZAMMLER GROUP told. We remind that the project provides establishment of the international cargo airport at Bila Tserkva city with a cargo customs terminal. The basis for the airport will be the airfield of BVAK. This international airport with a cargo customs terminal will allow: to increase the number of aircraft that Bila Tserkva Cargo Air Complex will accommodate; to repair the aircraft rapidly and cost-effectively; to increase cargo turnover of the airport in 35-40 tons per week, including due to cargos that ZAMMLER will deliver for its clients.
