We received two statuses from the State Customs Service of Ukraine:
AEO-B – confirming safety and reliability;
AEO-C – granting the right to apply simplified procedures.
AEO is an international program adopted in more than 80 countries that provides access to simplified customs procedures. The implementation of the program is one of Ukraine’s obligations under the Association Agreement with the EU and the World Trade Organization’s Trade Facilitation Agreement.
The Customs Code of Ukraine provides for a number of criteria for obtaining AEO status, including a stable financial position, compliance with the law, and proper accounting and record-keeping systems.
