Representatives of ZAMMLER shared their successful cases at the First Financial Fair
The First Financial Fair for small and medium enterprises (SME) took place on April 4. The event brought together representatives of Ukrainian businesses and large financial institutions. The Fair has been organized by German – Ukrainian Fund with the assistance of the Government of Germany.
During the event, the manager of groups of ZAMMLER logistics companies Larysa Melnychuk took part in a panel discussion on finance and optimizing of investments and shared her well implemented cases. In particular, she described the most effective ways of optimization and release of cashflows in order to redistribute them for successful business development. “The partnership with banking institutions is one of these ways. The employment of banking products for business is a global experience which is not used by every company nowadays, unfortunately. There is a fear associated with the country’s economic situation, high interest rates and the inability of long-term strategic planning. In the meantime, ZAMMLER group of companies has a stable business and successful experience of cooperation with commercial and state banks. The company’s reputation on the market is a key to the productive cooperation. This is a main factor in making a decision to collaborate”, – mentioned Larysa Melnychuk.
During the discussion its participants considered a set of issues which need to be comprehensively sold in order to develop the competitive business and raise investments:
- to reduce the credit rates: it is necessary to develop special state investment / credit programs including best world practices, adapted to the economic realities of the country;
- to reduce the credit rates to avoid charging of business, to create transparent “game rules”;
- to establish a single information space and communication platform containing up-to-date information on state financing programs for SME.
The successful experience of ZAMMLER group of companies showed the participants that Ukrainian business with domestic investments can progress steadily, enter the international markets and become an equal competitor to worldwide companies.
All participants of the event distinguished an urgent need to hold such business meetings in order to consolidate information, share experience and establish cooperation between interested businesses and financial institutions.
“This Financial Fair is more than just an ordinary business forum, it is an effective tool in the business development. In fact, our Fund is launching a new platform for Ukrainian businesses, providing access to credit resources and information about possible financing sources “- mentioned Andrii Fetsun, Director of the German-Ukrainian Fund.
