We at ZAMMLER GROUP support the improvement of professional knowledge in logistics, so for the second time we are joining the training program for logistics development from the European Business Association. The project, initiated by the EBA Management Development Center, was successfully implemented last year, and this year in September the training course started again. The first module was devoted to air transportation. Andrei Krivorotov, Director of the Air and Sea Transportation Department of ZAMMLER GROUP, has traditionally become the speaker.
Andrey Krivorotov gave an online lecture, in which he introduced the course participants to the specifics of cargo transportation by air, explained the principles and tools for forming routes, the criteria for choosing airlines and forwarders. He also spoke about the nuances of pricing, features of document flow, typical risks and responsibilities of the parties in the implementation of air cargo transportation, the main types of marking of goods during transportation, and the like.
The module also included an overview visit to the Boryspil International Customs Terminal, where the program participants could visually familiarize themselves with the key processes of air cargo transportation.
