ZAMMLER makes customs clearance management simpler and more transparent for clients. One of the key tools for this is the electronic customs clearance client portal, where documents, declarations, and current clearance statuses are collected in one place.
ZAMMLER developed the electronic client portal together with its partner Edin. The service allows clients to receive up-to-date information without constantly calling a logistics manager or customs broker, searching for the necessary data in correspondence, or maintaining separate spreadsheets.
What can be done in the electronic client portal
Monitor the customs clearance status. Information on the progress of customs clearance is available in real time 24/7. The client can promptly see changes and respond to possible delays.
Work with documents. All necessary documents are stored in one place, making them easier to find and use in day-to-day operations.
View declarations. Declarations and clearance history are available in the portal, allowing clients to track the process and monitor previous operations.
Receive notifications. Clients can receive SMS and email notifications about status changes without having to constantly check the information manually.
Generate reports. Access to customs clearance data simplifies the preparation of reports for accounting and management.
ZAMMLER’s own development — more opportunities for clients
The electronic client portal was developed with the specifics of customs clearance and the needs of ZAMMLER clients in mind. Its features include:
- access without an electronic signature — there is no need to use an electronic digital signature every time to work with the portal;
- access management — individual employees, including the document management or accounting department, can be granted access to the platform;
- customized reports — the ability to generate reports according to the company’s needs;
- internal UCTFEA code directory — helps work with product codes without searching for information in separate sources;
- proprietary information database — the company can create and use its own database for working with customs clearances.
ZAMMLER will continue to develop the functionality of the electronic client portal. Planned features include detailed analytics of customs clearances: the number of declarations, the complexity of clearances, their processing statuses, and the history of interaction with customs authorities.
ZAMMLER’s Chief Operating Officer Oleksandr Kyryliuk spoke about the capabilities of the electronic client portal during the ASAP Logistics Forum.
