ZAMMLER GROUP is always ready to support important initiatives for children and youth. We organize excursions at storage facilities. We have recently opened the first logistics laboratory in Ukraine for KNUTE students. We also give lectures.
Therefore, we accepted the invitation to give an online lecture for 5-7 grade students of the Educational Complex No. 141 located in Kyiv with great pleasure.
The students are with the topic “Delivery unites” for participation in the international competition FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge. The competition is held in various countries by two partner companies – FIRST (a robotics community) and LEGO GROUP (the manufacturer of popular construction sets for children). Children will present their projects related to future product delivery at the all-Ukraine stage at the end of December.
Children have a challenging creative task, which involves suggesting ways of transportation which are more effective, safe and accessible that those used now.
In this regard, the young designers were advices by Serhii Honcharov, the manager of the regional transportation department.
He told them about how logistics worked in Ukraine and worldwide. He gave explanations about the advantages and features of each type of transportation: by air, by ship or by truck. He spoke to the students about the challenges and opportunities, i.e. he tried to provide the most complete sectoral picture to the young talents.
