Ukraine is already losing the valuable human resources who migrate to Europe. Since 2017, after the adoption of the visa-free travels, our company felt this as well – some truckers and warehouse workers went abroad. And it is getting harder to fill vacancies – the experienced employees retire, and young people are not trained in specialized educational institutions.
Moreover, the Ukraine’s market situation (competition with “grey” carriers, high truck fleet operation costs, etc.) does not allow to increase the truckers’ salary. And they simply do not need additional motivation in the form of English courses or a season ticket to the pool – they are all the time on the road.
