ZAMMLER underlines the necessity for immediate solution of the issue related to the absence of permits

For over a week Ukraine has been lacking permits for cargo transportation from Ukraine to Poland.  They are unavailable both in the user account and the issuing points. We, Zammler company, emphasize that the situation is unprecedented and requires immediate solution.

“We are planning to send more than 200 cargo tracks from Ukraine to Poland during this month. All of them cannot leave the country. The Customers are shocked; they suffer substantial losses resulting in imposition of penal sanctions on our company.  Each cargo track having undergone customs clearance but failed to leave the country causes delaying in customs procedures. Needless to say about payment of salaries to the drivers, amortization costs”, – posted Viktor Shevchenko, the Chief Executive Officer of ZAMMLER on his Facebook page.

The Chief Executive Officer of ZAMMLER GROUP also stated that the last year the carriers were provided with 160 thousand permits having begun to be off in August. Nevertheless, as of 2020 the amount of permits was not increased   – Poland issued 160 thousand permits for a year (10 thousand of them have already been used in advance in December 2019). With regard to the planned growth in cargo traffic, Viktor Shevchenko predicts that all the permits for cargo transportation from Ukraine to Poland may be off already in May.

As of today we have addressed an official letter to the Minister of Infrastructure describing the situation and asking resolve an issue as soon as possible.
